The St. Ambrose annual bowling tryout competition was completed earlier this month.

Freshman Ryan Speer and senior Addy Nelson were victorious. Speer dominated from start to finish, topping the 28-player field by outdistancing the competition by nearly 17 pins a game. He averaged 220.67 for his 28 games, which were contested on six different lane patterns. Nelson edged freshman Marissa Bills in a much closer competition, winning by less than a single pin per game.
