Stubler and Hess named All-Americans; Littig a Coach of the Year finalist

At the Night of Champions banquet, held last Wednesday, Nate Stubler and Megan Hess were announced as First Team All-Americans.

For Stubler, a fifth-year senior, this was his second straight All-American team berth. For Hess, a senior, this was her first time receiving All-American honors. Both players enjoyed amazing seasons, with numerous All-Tournament Team performances, and each had a collegiate average that was among the top 10 in the nation.

And for the fourth straight season, Head Coach Eric Littig was one of five nominees for the Gordon Vadakin National Collegiate Coach of the Year. Other nominees included Rick Steelsmith (Wichita State), Bob Learn (Tennessee Southern), Katie Thornton (SCAD) and Shawn Wochner (Wisconsin-Whitewater). Thornton took home the award.
