Four named to all-CCAC Softball Team

Shai Erdrich, Becca Haag and Alyssa Schumacher were all named first team all-conference, and Emilee Erickson was selected to the second team as the CCAC announced its postseason softball awards.
Season ends at CCAC Tournament

St. Ambrose saw its season come to a close with a pair of tight losses at the CCAC Tournament played in Crown Point, Ind. The No. 5-seeded Bees fell to Trinity Christian 5-3 Thursday before getting knocked out of the postseason with a 5-4 loss to St. Francis Friday.

CHICAGO --- Emilee Erickson's (Elburn, Ill.) two wins in the circle for St. Ambrose University and Kaylie Sippel's (Beecher, Ill.) 11 hits and nine runs batted in in just six games for University of St. Francis have resulted in the two players capturing Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference Softball Pitcher and Player of the Week honors, respectively, the league office announced on Tuesday morning.
