NFCA All-Region Teams

After earning first team all-CCAC honors, Erica Ralfs added to her postseason awards. The senior from Davenport, Iowa, was selected to the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region V First Team. She earned the honor as a utility player/pitcher.

Ralfs is the first Bee to earn first team all-region honors since Christina Pembrook in 2018.

SAU's top pitcher, Ralfs went 8-6 with a 2.09 earned run average in 2013. She made 17 starts, finishing with six complete games and three shutouts. She struck out 111 over 110 1/3 innings. Ralfs is fifth in school history with 34 wins and second with 276 career strikeouts.

Ralfs was also one of the team's top offensive threats. She batted .333 with five doubles, three triples and a team-leading three home runs. She scored 26 runs and knocked in 17.

The NFCA all-region teams honor student-athletes from the Association's six regions with selection to one of two teams. NFCA member head coaches nominate and then vote for the winners in their respective region.
