SAU named NWCA Scholar All-America Team
St. Ambrose was named a 2022-23 Scholar All-America Team by the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA). SAU finished 10th among all NAIA men's wrestling programs with a 3.333 team cumulative GPA.
In addition, six Bees were named NWCA Scholar All-Americans - Chris Bridges, Tyler Casey, Blake Dirksen, Thade Gottschalk, Dylan Meiners and Daniel Terronez.
"Recognizing these exceptional athletes for their hard work and dedication both on and off the mat is a great honor for the NWCA," said Mike Moyer, NWCA Executive Director. "We congratulate all the honorees for their outstanding achievements and wish them continued success in their academic and athletic pursuits."
