Four Bees ranked in Heart of America preseason poll
A program-best four Fighting Bees, including a pair of returning national qualifiers, are ranked in the Heart of America preseason men's wrestling poll announced this week.
Jayden Terronez, a 2022 NAIA National qualifier, is the top-ranked Bee. He is slotted at No. 2 in the conference at 165 pounds. St. Ambrose's other returning national qualifier, Mick Chagnon, is ranked third at 125 pounds.
Daniel Terronez is ranked third at 149 pounds and Riley Woods is sixth at 141 pounds for St. Ambrose.
The Bees will host an intrasquad meet Wednesday night before officially opening the season at the Dan Harris Open in Baldwin City, Kan., on Nov. 6.
