Fox named first team all-CCAC

all-CCAC Men's Volleyball Team

Nick Fox capped his St. Ambrose career by earning first team all-CCAC recognition as the conference announced its postseason men's volleyball awards.

Fox is just the second Bee to be named to the first team in the last four seasons. Jason Bageanis received the honor last year.

Fox led St. Ambrose in kills, hitting percentage and blocks in 2023. The 6-5 middle hitter from Elmwood Park, Ill., totaled 215 kills, hit at a .392 clip and recorded 89 total blocks. He currently leads the CCAC in total blocks and solo blocks (36), is fourth in block assists (53) and ranks ninth in total kills. He is the only player in the conference to average better than one block per set. He put down double-digit kills in 10 matches this season, including a season-best 17 against just three hitting errors, in a CCAC Tournament match at Judson to end the year. Fox also collected at least three kills 17 different times.

He ends his Bee career as one of the top defensive players in program history. Fox finished with 268 total blocks, placing him seventh all-time at St. Ambrose. He registered 73 solo blocks, which is fifth in school history.
