Track & Field competed in a plethora of outdoor events in a two-day span
In a 48-hour time span, both men's and women's Track & Field teams competed at three different venues. Friday. April 26, the distance runners competed in the Kip Janvrin Open at Simpson College. The Kip Janvrin Open saw 48 team compete, including St. Ambrose. While the distance runners were in Indianola, Iowa, the other Bees competed at the Grand View Viking Classic in Des Moines, Iowa. Saturday, April 27, SAU competed at the prestigious Drake Relays.
At the Grand View Viking Classic, the Bees earned some top five finishes:

Ryleigh Warden- 1st in Pole Vault & 4th in Javelin
Megan Becker- 2nd in 800 meter-Run
Annaliese Bowser- 2nd in Javelin
Lexie Johnson- 2nd in Long Jump
Aniecia Goss- 4th in 200-meter Run
Carlie Woolm- 4th in 1500 meter-Run
Samara Thompson- 5th in 400-meter Run

Nathan Boleyn- 1st in 1500-meter Run
Chris Miserendino- 1st in 800-meter Run
Ben Wilson- 1st in 400 Hurdles
Kevin Chaney- 2nd in 1500-meter Run
Willie Padonou- 2nd in 400-meter Run
Alec Seifert- 2nd in Shot Put & 2nd in Discus
Justin Bowers- 3rd in Triple Jump
Trae Corby- 3rd in 800-meter Run
Kyle Uhl- 3rd in Shot Put
Tommy Ashby- 4th in 800-meter Run

Two SAU events earned a top five finish at the competitive Drake Relays. SAU competed against all other qualifying schools.

Trae Corby, Chris Miserendino, Luke Benes, and Will Dowda- 3rd in Distance Medley
Next up, the Bees will compete at the CCAC Outdoor Championships starting on May 3. This will be a two-day event.
