USTFCCCA Rating Index

With the outdoor season just underway, St. Ambrose is ranked No. 19 in the most recent NAIA Men's Outdoor Track & Field Rating Index, announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

Already this year, multiple Bees have qualified for the NAIA National Championships.

Will Reemtsma hit the A standard in the 400-meter hurdles with a time of 53.00 seconds. That ranks first in the conference and third nationally.

Mick Saloninas has two qualifying marks. He hit the A standard in both the shot put with a throw of 16.20 meters and in the discus with a mark of 52.22 meters. Both efforts are the top marks in the conference. He currently ranks third in the discus and sixth in the shot put.

Jonah Wilson is right behind Saloninas in the shot put. Wilson has a B standard with a throw of 15.52 meters this season. That is the second-best mark in the conference.

Nolan Rudd has a B standard in the 3000-meter steeplechase. He has a CCAC-leading time of 9:26.43 in the event.

Only marks from the current outdoor season have been used in the rankings.

Southeastern (Fla.) earned the top spot while British Columbia, The Master's (Calif.), Keiser (Fla.) and Life (Ga.) round out the top five.
