Sixteen Bees named NAIA Scholar-Athletes
The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) released the 2023 Daktronics NAIA Men's Soccer Scholar-Athletes. St. Ambrose had 16 student-athletes named to the team.
Representing St. Ambrose were Zach Bauer, Parker Beck, Eli Elliott, Sam Flello, Owen Gannaway, Aden Grudzinski, Jack Haverland, Keaton Johnson, Zander Larson, Harry North, Lucas Pizani, Jordan Seeley, Carlos Simoni, Justin Tackett, Carson Wagner and Joseph Wyslak.
A total of 1032 student-athletes, spread across 156 institutions, were named to the team. In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
