St. Ambrose men's soccer lost to Governors State 4-0 in their regular season finale Saturday. The Bees were outshot 31-11 in the contest.
GSU was on the attack early scoring their first goal in the first minute of the game. They would add goals in the 39th minute and 43rd minute to take a 3-0 lead into halftime.
The Jaguars would add another in the 54th minute to extend the lead to 4-0.
Thomas Gaither and Justin Tackett each led the Bees with two shots on goal. Jorge Brizuela, Sam Flello, and Charlie Leinart each recorded one shot on goal as well. Zach Bauer was credited with 12 saves during the match, having six in each half.
SAU closes out the season at 4-9-2 overall and 4-7 in CCAC play.
