Lukasik scores two in loss at Judson

Nathan Lukasik scored two goals, and SAU held an early lead, but it wasn't enough as the Bees dropped a CCAC contest against Judson University, 3-2, on Saturday in Crystal Lake, Ill. The loss drops SAU to 5-7-2 overall and 2-7-1 in conference, while the Eagles are now 10-2-2 overall and 7-2-1 in conference. 

St. Ambrose took a 1-0 lead in the 18th minute when David Morsey found Lukasik for the score. SAU would lead until the 32nd minute when the Eagles got a goal from Martin Wainstein to tie the game at one. The home team would get another goal just two minutes later to take a 2-1 lead. Judson would score a third just before halftime for a two-goal lead. 

The Bees would get a goal back in the 58th minute as Morsey and Lukasik teamed up again to make it 3-2. Spencer Pyle had a chance for the tying score in the 75th minute, but his shot was saved. Ricky Rueda's shot attempt went wide in the 83rd minute, and SAU would fall by one. 

Miguel Bayma made four saves for the Bees in goal. 

St. Ambrose will be home on Wednesday, October 20th to face (RV) Cardinal Stritch at 3 p.m.
