Bio

Devin Caesar enters his 1st year as the head coach of the St. Ambrose men's lacrosse team after serving as a graduate assistant and recruiting coordinator with the Bees. He became the fifth head coach in the program's history on August 5, 2023. 

Caesar, a native of Gurnee, Illinois, graduated from SAU with a degree in interdisciplinary studies, following a social work and sports management background. He played two seasons in the Fighting Bees men's lacrosse program and finished his career with four points (one goal, three assists), 60 ground balls, and 27 caused turnovers. 

In his first year on the sidelines with St. Ambrose, Caesar was named the Heart of America Conference Assistant Coach of the Year after helping SAU to a conference tournament championship and a third straight berth to the NAIA National Invitational.

Caesar earned his first head coaching position after spending seven years as a member of the True Illinois Lacrosse program. He had a stint of coaching experience in Illinois at Warren Township High School and Adlai E. Stevenson High School.
