SAU swept the week on the road

St. Ambrose traveled to St. Louis, Mo. to take on the Spartans of Missouri Baptist. The Bees scored early and often to secure the 14-6 victory. Isaiah Hahn started the scoring for the Bees, followed by Ayden Fraelle, and Makaile Shaddix to start the game 3-1. St. Ambrose never looked back in the second period, scoring six unanswered goals before halftime. In the third quarter, Isaiah Hahn, Ayden Fraelle, and Tyler Yetka chipped in goals for the Bees. Throughout the fourth period, SAU added two more goals to seal the game.

Makaile Shaddix led the way in scoring for the Bees with four goals with Isaiah Hahn close behind chipping in three goals. Ayden Fraelle added two goals. With five St. Ambrose players, Zach Priami, Matt Cortopassi, Tyler Yetka, Joe Campbell, and Dawson Dickerson adding a goal each. Matt Cortopassi and Tyler Yetka led the Fighting Bees with two assist each. Joe Campbell picked up a team high five groundballs. Ian Ban with three and six other Bees with two groundballs each. Those groundball pick ups from Amari'ye Gardner, EJ Loggins, Eli Hahn, Trent Knight, Ayden Fraelle, and Adam Kraft.

Lachlan Hodge and Isaac Martinez were between the pipes for the Bees. Hodge clinched four saves on five shots. Martinez earning five saves total on the evening.

SAU was successful yet again, proving to have a perfect clears total with 18 clears on 18 attempts.

St. Ambrose will have a short break before returning home vs. Aquinas on Mar. 2.
