All-CCAC Men's Basketball Team

Guillermo Narbona was named to the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference (CCAC) All-Freshman Team as the league announced its postseason men's basketball awards.

Narbona was one of three Bees recognized as Will Spriggs was named second-team all-conference and Ignacio Dacunda earned all-CCAC honorable mention.

Narbona was one of five players named to the all-freshman team. He is the second SAU player named to the squad joining Grant Mason, who earned the honor following the 2021-22 campaign.

Narbona appeared in 28 of the team's 29 games and made 25 starts, averaging nearly 26 minutes per contest. The 6-6 forward from Malaga, Spain, averaged 7.3 points, 6.1 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.0 steal per game.

He scored in double figures seven times with a season-high 17 points coming on 7-of-8 shooting in an 89-72 win at Trinity Christian to close the regular season on Feb. 24. He pulled down at least 10 rebounds in three games, including a 12-rebound effort in an 81-73 win over Governors State on Jan. 6.
