Bio

Matt McKay started coaching the St. Ambrose inside linebackers in 2020. He became the program's Defensive Coordinator and Defensive Line coach in the spring of 2022.

Originally from Chicago, Ill., McKay graduated from Mount Carmel High School in 2016.

He then went on to play offensive line at Augustana College, where he was a four-year starter and a second-team all-conference selection in 2019.

McKay graduated from Augustana with a Bachelor's Degree in Multimedia Journalism and Communications. He is pursuing a Master's of Organizational Leadership at St. Ambrose.
