Bees win first Heart Rocket League Conference Championship
St. Ambrose made history Saturday as the winner of the first-ever Heart of America Rocket League Conference Tournament Championship.
The Bees entered the four-team bracket competed on the campus of Park University as the No. 4 seed.
Facing the regular-season champion Park, St. Ambrose advanced with a 4-1 win in the best-of-7 format. In the other semifinal, No. 3 Missouri Valley defeated No. 2 Central Methodist 4-2.
In the championship round, the Bees completed their quest with a 4-1 victory over Missouri Valley.
