Olson, Schilling named to CSC Academic All-America Team
2023 CSC Academic All-America Women's At-Large Team
Ally Olson and Ellie Schilling were named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-America Women's At-Large Team. Schilling was a first team selection, while Olson earned second team honors.
The honor recognizes the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances athletically and academically. Nominees must be starters or important reserves, sophomores or older, with at least 3.50 cumulative grade point averages. The women's at-large team consists of student-athletes from bowling, competitive cheer, competitive dance, golf, lacrosse, volleyball and wrestling.
Olson, from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, was a first team NAIA Competitive Dance All-American in 2022 and was a member of the 2022 National Championship squad that broke the NAIA record for overall score at the Championships. Olson was also named a NAIA Scholar-Athlete this season.
Schilling, from Coralville, Iowa, was also a member of the 2022 National Championship team and was named a second team All-American. She was also named a NAIA Scholar-Athlete this season.
The St. Ambrose Dance team placed first in six of seven competitions in 2023.
