12 Bees named NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athletes
Twelve members of the St. Ambrose dance team were named Daktronics Scholar-Athletes, the NAIA announced. Nearly 200 student-athletes were recognized from 48 institutions.
SAU led all institutions with the 12 selections. Lorele Gagiano, Carissa Johnson, Rachel Johnson, Ally Olson, Morgan Pfohl, Ellie Schilling, Lynleigh Schram, Grace Shissler, KT Staley, Emma Stiener, Allison Wallace, and Leah Zeimet earned the honors.
In order to be nominated by an institution's head coach or sports information director, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport and have attended one full year at said institution.
