SAU back to winning ways at Saints Showdown
The St. Ambrose Cheer Team bettered second place Concordia (Mich.) by more than five points to win the Aquinas Saints Showdown Sunday in Grand Rapids, Mich.
SAU posted a score of 96.46 to win the seven-team event. Concordia, the only team to score in the 90s, finished second with a score of 91.23. Siena Heights was third at 82.61.
St. Ambrose will compete in the OCU Classic next Sunday in Oklahoma City, Okla.
