Mick Saloninas, Men's Track & Field
A senior on SAU’s track and field team, Mick Saloninas has won 3 conference gold medals and 1 runner medal at the national meets for shot put and discus. He is consistently placing in the top 5 every meet so far for this season. Mick has also already qualified for this year’s nationals, due to his fifth best mark in the country! Mick’s favorite memory from SAU track and field is the 2022 outdoor nationals. During nationals, everyone gave it their all and pushed each other to do their best. Mick enjoys being a part of the team because of all the great and friendly people that are involved in this sport. Along with being a great athlete, Mick is majoring in psychology with a minor in biology. His future goal is to join the occupational therapy program.
