Permission for Release of Information
As a student-athlete representing St. Ambrose University, our Sports Information Department may release information surrounding your participation in intercollegiate athletics at St. Ambrose as well as any previous institutions (e.g. high school, junior colleges, previous college) where you have competed. Examples of the information St. Ambrose may release include (but are not limited to) the following: game participation and statistics; pertinent personal data, such as height, position, hometown, eligibility status, etc.; photographs; video footage and/or illustrations of your likeness connected to your participation in intercollegiate athletics.
For the purposes of consideration for external awards celebrating high academic achievement (e.g. NAIA Scholar-Athlete, academic all-conference, Academic All-District and All-America® as selected by CoSIDA), our athletics communications staff may release your cumulative GPA to third parties and the media.
If you do not wish to be considered for these awards, do not want your photo to appear on the SAU Athletics website, or do not want any mailings (tickets, banquet information, photo order forms, etc.) sent to your parents, please email the SAU Sports Information Department at
