St. Ambrose is a perennial top-25 team, having claimed eight conference titles and advancing to the NAIA National Football Playoffs 10 times since 2000. Over that time, the Bees have crowned 34 All-Americans and eight Conference Players of the Year, along with 111 first-team all-conference selections.

And the Bees get it done in the classroom as well with 222 players named to the academic all-conference team and 100 named prestigious NAIA Scholar-Athletes since 2000. The 2014 and 2015 St. Ambrose football teams had the highest team GPAs among all NAIA football programs in the country.
