Werrett breaks 50 free school record
Cory Werrett broke the school-record in the 50-yard freestyle in a dual against Quincy Friday at the Davenport Central Natatorium. The freshman from Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, swam the opening leg of the men's 200-yard freestyle relay in 20.98 seconds, shaving .01 off the previous record of 20.99 set by Ryan Warrick in the same event at the 2023 NAIA Championships.
